  About Us

Our membership is made up of people from all over Durham and Northumberland Counties, but the meetings, fund raising events, our show, and the township support, is in Hope Township, hence the Hope.

The primary interest of the membership is in agricultural machinery. The club has had donations of items non-
agricultural in nature, such as antique lawn mowers, chainsaws, and tools, but preserving and collecting farm machinery is our main goal.

This is what the club wants to preserve. The heritage
associated with the farm, its machinery, the skills and knowledge of operation and maintenance that will be
lost if not captured and recorded.

Our Club members, from all walks of life, share with the community our treasures. Pieces of scrap left to decay in time to rust, but rescued by a caring member, who scrapes, sands, rebuilds and repairs to bring the junk back to a valuable piece of our history.

The club meets every two months, to share projects, plan events and enjoy folks with the same interest.  We have a great variety of club antiques that need attention and care.  Most of our member have their own pieces of equipment that they have restored back to show shape.  We all want to share our treasures with each other and the community, so we have a large show each year to look, touch and play with these grownup toys.
